We are in Portland now, looking for a home and jobs. The weather was just what you would expect for a first-time Oregonian from California - it started pouring rain when we crossed the border. It is suposed to get up to the 80's by Thursday but I will believe it when I see it!
I have not been able to use my email as frequently because the compose section does not function on the computer I have regular access too...It's a mystery.
I will soon upload pictures and stories from our first adventures.
The first place we ate in Portland yesterday was wonderful, just what I hoped for - blossoming lotus.
